Nourished Pet Raw Food

I began making home made raw food for my cats and dogs a few years back because of increased vet visits. My older cat developed allergies and other health issues for no apparent reason. Vet visits were becoming more frequent and expensive getting steroid injections, meds, ear cleanings etc. I started thinking about our family pets when I was a child and remembering they were never sick or needed v

et attention. They were always healthy and lived to ripe old ages. That's when it hit me that my parents fed them mostly raw meat and bones along with some canned food. I immediately started researching and found Dr Lisa Pierson and Dr Karen Becker's websites and articles on the subject. (Among others) What a wealth of knowlege these Dr's provided! With that I was off and running making food for my pets. Within a very short amount of time, my older cat didnt need injections or meds and was playing around like a kitten again. All of my pets were thriving and happy as could be. After much research, some trial and error, I started making prey model feasts that have kept my animals happy and healthy for years now. I am so happy we have opened Nourished Pet Raw Food and are able to share a collection of feasts with the public to help all of our carnivores thrive and not just survive.
