Founder Lynn Hodges felt the need to build a cargo rack for the back of his bike. Between automation jobs, Lynn spent his time designing the first billet aluminum cargo rack. When it was finished, he loved the way it looked and functioned so much, that he continued to design cargo racks for other models. The popularity of the cargo rack led to other items that were a necessity for off-road trail r
iding. The billet aluminum kickstand and spark arrestor end cap were born. With demand for the motorcycle products on the rise, at the start of 2004 the motorcycle division was split from the parent company to form Pro Moto Billet Incorporated. The incorporation involved relocation to a new 25,000+ square foot facility, and doubling the previous production capacity. On August 1st, 2006 Pro Moto Billet purchased Portland, Oregon based Fastway Performance. Known worldwide for its patented Evolution Series footpegs and F.I.T. System hand guards, the brand also has over 40 off-road National Championships to its credit. As part of the acquisition, all Fastway Performance manufacturing, sales, and marketing were relocated to Pro Moto Billet’s headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.
