Your place to be heard!

Visitation to America's public lands and trails is on the rise, yet funding for outdoor recreation, including mountain biking, has significantly decreased. This imbalance threatens the quality and accessibility of our treasured natural spaces. Outdoor recreation groups are stepping up to address this issue and advocate for better funding.

Led by Outdoor Alliance, 36 outdoor recreation organizations and businesses, including CAMTB, have united to ask Congress to fully fund outdoor recreation budgets at key land management agencies like the Forest Service (USFS) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). These organizations, along with countless volunteers from our member orgs who tirelessly maintain and build trails, are calling for adequate resources to ensure the sustainability and stewardship of our public lands and waters.

Join the movement and make your voice heard! Support the campaign by sharing this message and urging your lawmakers to fully fund recreation on our public lands. Visit this link to learn more and take action.

Together, we can ensure our trails receive the care they deserve for many more mountain biking adventures.

Hello everyone

My name is Robert Hartman and I am here to let you guys know. I have been working on a project for the mountain bike community here in San Diego county and watch your input!

Please keep the conversation clean, and let’s get some honest and put here from everyone regarding what they would expect and details of that nature I appreciate your maturity and professionalism.

Who’s ready for a jump/pump style bike park up here in north county that is shuttled and will offer “summit style” runs comparable to miricale mile?

Wow, we are officially in the beginning stages of working out the details on bringing you guys a bike park that will be shuttle serviced and have quick access to the 15 freeway.

We are currently in the beginning stages of mapping the terrain and choosing our trail system and design. We have 24 acres of land that was previously avocado farm with consistent slopes front and back with two peaks to choose from we plan on creating a resort style atmosphere with the Enduro style flow trails.

We plan on having nearly a dozen trails from beginner to expert level that will challenge your skills, and your friends!

I personally have been out there twice to survey the land, and it is looking very promising with many different of trail building out there we are seeking to be on the cutting edge of the forefront of mountain bike parks here in California modeling our business after some of the more successful European bike parks, we want to embody their style of Trail building.

The location will be right off of the 15 highway and the mission Road exit , With old Highway 395 being a part of our property, we have ample parking down below along with lockbox storage facilities. There will be bike, washing facilities, and campground for people who want to come out and visit for more than a day.

We’re just trying to see if anybody would want to volunteer time and being a part of the building process of this , we would greatly appreciate any assistance that anybody is willing to offer in the form of time or skills on building trails, trail, features, etc.

Myself, so I am the project manager, creator and developer. I hold all the roles and I’m looking input on the parks features and what people may expect!

We are just now in the very beginning stages of all of this, but I wanted to be transparent with the community and let you guys know that we are actually working on this actively and presenting a business plan here shortly to the landowner who I work with closely and is very enthusiastic For the mountain bike community and the addition of a quality park here in San Diego county to complement the already existing one Paula.

The things take time to become reality but we want to hear from everyone who wants to be apart of a park like this just say “yay” or “nay”

Thank you!
