In a very creative place lately. Focusing on my music project only, so everything else will have to wait. Can’t wait to show you my new tunes. Hopefully before the end of the year.

ANNOUNCEMENT: I am taking a break from candle making and focusing only on my music project. So no new candle releases this holiday season. Instead I will be releasing my spiritual techno project. Music has been extremely therapeutic for me and I have no expectations other than feeling good and having fun. I hope to start releasing my new tracks within the next month or so but not rushing the process either. Though more than likely it will start being released sometime before the new year. So far it is going very well! I never thought I’d end up back in music since my band “Abbeyvain” many years ago. But I guess my soul isn’t finished with music yet. Only this time I am writing and producing everything on my own. No plans of playing live shows just creative expression. There will be music videos too so stay tuned!

So I took several months off from candle making but will be starting production again due to an unexpected order that just came in. So now I have to go into production to fulfill it. But the truth is that I needed a long break from candle making because I felt burned out. In order to please others I found myself undercharging. And the candle making supplies were higher than the profit I made off them, so I burned out. Maxed out my credit card paying for all the supplies and not enough profit coming back in. So I gave up for a bit and even considered going out of business as a result. Beeswax is expensive. So are the non toxic fragrance oils I use. This is why my candles are more expensive in the $25-$45 range. I don’t use paraffin and cheap oils like the grocery stores use with their candles. And my products are way more high quality than yankee candle and bath & body. Because I specialize in clean and healthy candles that are non-toxic. Not only that but also the labor since it’s just myself manufacturing the candles. My time is valuable and some of the candles I make take a lot of time. So moving forward this year I will be coming out with a limited supply of candles. If you want clean candles buy from me. If you want unhealthy toxic candles for a lower cost than buy from your local grocery store. Most of them use paraffin mixes because paraffin is cheaper to manufacture and they don’t give a s**t about your health.

Been working in my studio the past couple of months learning to write music again. Short techno sounds with spiritual affirmations. First song is complete. Music video next!

Did I mention that I’m also starting a jewelry line? Beginning with rope themed necklaces, bracelets, and anklets. This is my first prototype and will only get better from here. Launching this winter!

Silence doesn’t mean lack of momentum. If anything it means even more. Getting ready to shift in a new direction with my business and with a new team of people working with me. For now I am quiet but a lot is happening behind the scenes. Stay tuned!

Working on a new customized candle project for a special client friend of mine. She has requested copper red, orange, and green taper candles. Will experiment with making a green set tomorrow!
