Your friendly local Game store since 2004! Magic: the Gathering tournaments are our main gaming events, with Friday Night magic (FNM) events beginning at 6:00pm every week. Plus our very popular Midnight Prereleases, followed by multiple other prerelease/release & Game Day events for each new set released! We also run TCGPlayer MaxPoint tournaments, 2:00pm every other Sunday. HeroClix Tournaments

are held every Saturday, beginning at 1:00pm, followed by Yu-Gi-Oh at 3:00pm, with players staying and playing other games, including D&D and many other RPG's and Card/Board Games all evening, usually until 4:00am or later! Additional Games/Events, and reminders are posted here on this page, as well as articles I think will be of interest to gamers and/or ANIME fans! With our recent merging of two stores into one, I now feel confident in saying that Gold Star has one of the Biggest and Best Selections of Anime/Manga & J-pop culture merchandise in the USA! Our selection at Gold Star Anime is very much the same as what you might expect to find for sale in the Vendor's room at even a mid-sized Convention! As for promoting our actual "Business" on this, our "Business Page", I just want to draw increased attention to all the wonderful stuff we carry, both in our Brick-n-Mortar shop, and online! We believe that it is more important that the people playing here are having FUN - even if that means we get fewer people playing here! Larger groups may bring in more money, but knowing that the people playing here are able to have FUN is more important! I have been Looking for a talented Artist(s), that I can help get started drawing original works, or illustrating stories I am writing. I will pay for the best ORIGINAL Cartoon, painting, or Illustration that is submitted each week! Contact me if you are interested, I am surprised that I have not had anyone take me up on this yet? I would really like to collaborate with a talented artist, or work with a co-author to get my stories out of my head, and onto paper! My biggest personal reward is all about getting to meet other Anime fans from the US, and from around the world!
