Hi friends, just a note to let you all know that I'm changing the name of Toad Creek Clay.. to Art by Michelle Barker-Finn...I've branched out from pottery to include encaustic paintings and outdoor and indoor murals and signs. The encaustic paintings are made with melted and pigmented beeswax and resin and various mixed media...I hope you enjoy! I'm working on getting some gallery shows and will post any upcoming events,

Happy spring!!! I know there has been a lack of new pottery to post...grad school has been taking much of my time...that and I've been focusing on my new creative obsession...encaustic painting! Encaustic means "to burn in". I've been playing with hot wax, pigments, heat guns and blowtorchs...here are some of the results :)
