Niessing wedding & engagement rings.
Niessing. When only the finest quality will do.
Most people associate January's birth stone garnet with a reddish brown colour. In it's rarest form garnet actually comes in a magnificent green. This rare form of garnet is named Tsavorite ( with a silent "T") and the finest examples, which are as scarce and valuable as top quality emeralds, come from Kenya.
As you'd expect from Ashberry, we have a wonderful stock of Tsavorites .... and here's a glimpse of just a few ! They're tougher than emerald, take a better polish, and so shine beautifully...probably why it's tricky to get a good focus on them !
Having had little contact with Mark and Jon in Thailand over the past week we'd started to wonder whether they were just lay on a beach somewhere!
We needn't have worried, they've been working hard... and now they've figured out how to work the new office smartphone we're getting pics and vids through thick and fast!
They've selected lovely emeralds of all shapes and sizes from our Thai cutters.
These are particularly fine African stones that will be amongst the new Ashberry stock. Even on a video you can see the richness of colour and fantastic clarity.
Mark and Jon are currently in Thailand buying Gemstones for the stone dealing side of our business and have started sending through pics and vids of what they've bought so far & we thought you might like to see some!
Here at Ashberry we get first choice of what we want for our customers before the stones are bought up by other jewellers around the country.
If you like sapphires, here are some fine quality cushion shapes. The bottom two on the right are the best of the best and they'll be at Ashberry from next week, amongst many other fantastic stones. We'll post more pics as they come through. If you'd like us to design any of these fantastic stones into a stunning piece of jewellery for you, just get in touch.
As you may know, Ashberry's parent company has been one of the leading suppliers of gemstones to the Uk jewellery trade for over 40 years.
With the swinegate lease ready to expire, we took the decision to relocate Ashberry to the head office on the outskirts of York to give customers the benefit of our gemstone and jewellery experience under one roof.
We've just exhibited a small selection of the fantastic gemstones we specialises in at the Birmingham International Jewellery Fair and so for those who didn't get chance to see what we do.... here's a taster !
