I have been very busy preparing for the and I made this to be making its debut as a mid level art piece for those who want to get something exquisite but not too expensive.
These are all Riodinidae from Peru that I have personally collected last year when I was there.

Each bat in this piece is a unique species from Indonesia.

In preparations for the , I have decided to make some very special art pieces from my last expedition to the Amazon.

I have chosen this combination of specimens to showcase as they all belong to the same family and I am showing both sides, the top and underside.
This collection of small butterflies are from Peru. And I have to say it has been very challenging to make working with these small butterflies.
I’m happy with the result. I hope you guys are too.
This one of a kind piece will be offered on April 11, 2015 in Saskatoon. Please come and have a look at it before it’s gone. These little beauties shine and glimmer like gems. It’s truly a labour of love.

In preparing for the upcoming shows in April, we have so much work to do. But the first step is to mount the specimens that we are going to frame.
Here is a selection of butterflies from Peru, Indonesia, Philippines and the Central African Republic.
These are all very small butterflies and in my opinion, they are the most challenging to spread properly. They also take the most time to do. I suspect that’s why so few artists work with them.

This is an anatomical drawing of a human spine and beside it is a giant centipede from the jungles of East Java, Indonesia.
I have used a specimen that measures more than 8 inches. An absolute beast for this piece.

This is an anatomical drawing of a human va**na. And I have been attacked by these giant c u n t s throughout my life. So what better way of displaying this monster by combining the two names.

I have used a specimen that measures nearly 9 inches. An absolute beast for this piece.

i’ve decided to release some white witches from my collection for the upcoming show in Winnipeg on November 28 at the RBC convention centre. These are the largest mod to fly in the western hemisphere. And I have collected them in northern Peru. They are not easy to get and are a true collector item, especially at this size.

Going through my scorpions, I found one that is absolutely massive. It measures over 8 inches or 21+ centimetres the scorpion is an emperor scorpion from Ghana and it’s definitely gonna be my collection.
