I struggle every year with our decision to open on Truth and Reconciliation Day.

And then I realized we could use the opportunity to perhaps help with the healing process by donating the entire day’s sales to our indigenous community.

I’m not quite sure which group or organization would best serve this purpose, so I’m asking you to help direct me to one in the comments below.

So many people come together to make a rescue happen!

We are blessed to be one of those parts. Saying thank you never seems enough.

Thanks so much to Sue and 17th Ave Thrift who raised funds and very generously donated just in time for our Good Trouble in Canada rescue!

Yes, the best part of rescue is seeing the dogs go from Lab to Love, but the second best is coming together with people across this nation and beyond, who want to make a difference for animals.
