Signs, Signs, Signs.

Back in 2013, we had just moved back to Airdrie after living in Peace River for five years getting my husband’s pilot career off the ground. Peace River was good to us, but I was happy to move back to family here in Calgary. I had three little children and was feeling the need for some creative outlet once we were settled. I made my first sign on a complete whim, I think I saw something on Pinterest and tried to recreate. It turned out alright, and I figured, why not throw it onto VarageSale and if I sell ONE, I’ll have $20 bucks I can go to HomeSense with! I ended up selling probably 20-30 of the one sign, and unbeknownst to me then, my sign business was born. Over the past five years I have refined my technique, skills, and learned a lot, (I started off with stencils from Wal-Mart and old barn boards! If you were one of my very first customers, thank you!!) My kids are older now and in school full time, which gives me the time and space I needed to grow my little hobby into a full time home business. I’m still learning, and the fun thing with signs is, there’s always another design, the well never empties! If you are one of my “regulars” from, “way back when”, thanks for sticking with me as I grew, if you are just finding me, I hope you find something you like! Customer service is important to me, I think it’s what sets businesses apart, and what keeps me going back (or not!) to my own regulars. Thank you for supporting a small business in your community!
