Whilst in cleaning mode, I've almost completed 1 and completed 2 projects in the kitchen. Until I've got about $40k to play with, my little kitchen tune-ups will have to do. Originally the countertops are a white formica that goes up the backsplash. I painted them back in 2018 with countertop paint, it was great until about a year ago. So I got a faux terrazzo quartz self adhesive counter paper to update. The almond 1990's vent hood was so dirty when I moved in, I'd scrubbed off the enamel trying to clean it, so I bought high heat red enamel to cover where I scrubbed to bare metal. I've collected far too many mugs and they were taking up much needed real estate, so they now all hang over the coffee bar. I was going to paint the trellis but it's stained almost identically the same color as my table and the cool green hooks are colorful enough. I've got one more countertop and then the edges to finish. Then 4 more projects to start and the kitchen will be done for the time being.

Update**** Done!!!!

Lil before, during and after for Henry's super late Christmas present....I made one for Daisie as well, it's got some touch up and it's done!

Soooo the wall switch and light kit fried after the cleaning people used a commercial vacuum in my guestroom....the fan still worked but I had no lights. Of course old dude that used to live here made a ginormous hole in the ceiling, but it gave me an excuse to glitterfy an old ceiling medallion. After trial and error my new fan is installed with all the sparkles!

Yeah.... 4 years later. Anyhooooo! I'm touching up paint, just framed the old medicine cabinet and put a coat on that trim. Once the paint is dry, it's the fun part!!! DAAAAYKORE!!!! Only pictures that will be posted after this are the completed bathroom.

Had to wait until I gave this to Alma!! She purchased an awesome headpiece when we were in Vegas for her birthday in 2015. I've looked for the perfect bust for almost 6 years and then found one. It took me over 6 months to start it once I found it.

The Walmart Tree Saga

They were on clearance for $37!! So I bought it, put it together and it was glorious!! For 5 minutes then only 1/6 worked. So I asked to replace it, they said keep the old and sent me a new one....only the blue/white lights worked and so I asked for a refund instead. They refunded me and told me to just keep it as well. So I took that money and bought 2 new reels of LED tape and zip ties.....stripped them and now, glorious again but with a remote this time and can be synced to music.
