Beautiful hand knit touques for “me and mom”. Made with the gorgeous softee and chunky(colour: Intrigue) with faux fur pom poms to complete the total look. These can be customized in the colour of your choice.

This is a stunning chicken sweater made with soft #4 worsted acrylic yarn (colour: sea green). This was a gift to my sister in law who is a veteran and now lives in Eastern Ontario with her husband who is also a veteran and their 2 children. They run a little hobby farm. I was delighted to knit this for her favourite chicken, Duchess 🐓 👑 ❤️ I also added old military buttons from a uniform and used them as the buttons that hold the strap in place.

Care instructions are machine wash and maximum temperature 104 degree Fahrenheit. Tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron, dry cleanable.

I always found knitting very therapeutic and almost meditative. Offering me time for quiet reflection, thinking about the relationships of knitting such as, family tradition passed down from generation to generation, patterns designed and developed by people in your home province which eventually became a style of knitting known only to our province. Knitting reminds me of where I’m from, the relationships I have there, and the pride I feel to be a Newfoundlander.

This is a beautiful and simple garment done in Bernat Maker Home Dec (colour: aqua). It fits beautifully, hangs just right, and the yarn is nice to work with and feels very comfortable. It’s made of a cotton nylon blend which makes it easy to care for and long lasting. Machine wash and dry.
